Nolla is operated by Avernor Pte. Ltd., and this page explains how to have data held in it deleted.
If you messaged a business that uses Nolla
Your messages and contact details belong to that business, and Nolla stores them on its behalf. You have two options, and either works:
- Ask the business directly. They can delete your contact record and its conversation history from Nolla themselves, immediately.
- Write to us at contact@asknolla.com with the phone number, Instagram handle, or Facebook name you used to message them, and the name of the business. We will verify the request, pass it to the business, and delete the data within 30 days.
If you are a business using Nolla
- You can delete any contact, along with its conversation history and media, from inside the app at any time.
- You can disconnect a channel at any time, which stops any further messages reaching Nolla.
- To close the account entirely and have all of its data deleted, write to contact@asknolla.com. We delete everything within 30 days of the account being closed.
What deletion means
When data is deleted, we remove the contact record, the conversation and its messages, and any images or documents exchanged, from our database and file storage. Backups are cycled out within 30 days. We may keep the minimum records the law requires us to keep, and nothing more.
Deleting data in Nolla does not delete the copy that lives with the messaging platform itself. If you also want your message history removed from WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger, you need to ask Meta.
